Ready for some green.

So so so ready for winter to be over.  I swear at least once a week I wake to friggin snow everywhere.  Not that this weeks weather is anything to complain about...   Friday doesn't look as amazing as Monday thru Thursday but maybe that will change!  I want to ride my bike and look at tulips!!!!!! Maybe next month?

To get my green fix in I made this for our front door.  If you have a Michaels or a JoAnns fabric grab a 40% any one item coupon out of the newspaper or online.  They take each others coupons so if you find one or the other use that.  It's just a cardboard letter and then I hot glued a sheet of green moss (buy it in the wreath section at either store).  Then I just tacked it on a nail to the door.  Looks great from the street and gives you a peek of green to get you through the next month.   Probably cost around $15 and took about 15 minutes to finish.  Lovez it.

If you don't feel like making one I can do it for you or you can buy one from Pottery Barn... $79xtax+shipping.  I love the way they accented the white door in the photo below.

Big bathroom, big smiles.

Our master bathroom is pretty tiny.  We sacrificed the space and larger rooms in our house for location, location, LOCATION!!  Pretty sweet to live within walking distance of Target, Chick Fil A, Marshalls, Wal-Mart, Lowes, ect ect ect.

We've contemplated taking down the shower rod for about a year.  Last weekend we got a wild hair and actually did it.  Lowes has a sale right now if you spend so much in bathroom fixtures you get so much off.  We ended up with a clearance Kohler for $275.  The bathroom looks much larger and sooooo much cleaner... I think it really brightened the space up.

Yes, the bathroom is very taupe... we know.

The next thing for the bathroom is some paint and a new sink cosole.  Maybe something like this from pottery barn but much cheaper...
